Mandira Bedi walks the ramp for Pallavi Jaipur at LFW

Getting inspired from her home city Jaipur, Pallavi has used the vibrant city “BUZZar” colours in her very feminine designs.

Taking cues from the bazaars Pallavi has created a collection that is not hinged on one theme or idea but is a harmonious blend of colours, fabrics and playful embroideries to show vastness and depth of culture and heritage which was evident from the outfits wearing which the models strutted the ramp. With Buzzar sounds in the background music and Womaniya song , Pallavi's showstopper Mandira Bedi elegantly walked wearing a Buzzar installation. Mandira in the spirit of the collection got into an impromptu dance on the ramp as well.

Each colour is symbolic to the streets of ‘Jaipur’s Bazaar’, if one takes a walk in the 'Chameliwala market’ we find an array of shops displaying silverware in its most intricate forms reflecting the shades of silver to Ivory; to ‘Haldiyon ka Rasta' where the spicy shades of Yellow are illustrated vibrantly; leading to 'Johari Bazaar’ where one finds colourful bangles, meenakari work and beads bring the fascinating Oranges, Pinks and Corals to full glory. The Midnight Blues reflects the evening buzz and bounty of the bazaar articulating design in the most creative manner.

Pallavi says, “ The easiness and flow of the crowd is exemplified in the drapes and silhouettes whereas the aesthetics is depicted in the embellishments”.
